We have now launched a new stock, 330gsm Invercote , to the R1 website. This is currently in progress for IP and will be available on site soon.

This new stock will be available on the website as a new addition our current Greetings Card offering. Work will also be completed to add this stock to other product lines such as Business Cards and Invitations/Postcards.

Invercote is essentially a “proper” “traditional” Greetings Card stock, in that one side has a silky finish whilst the other side has an uncoated finish – making it perfect to have print one side but leaving the inside of the card suitable for writing. (Imagine what you would expect to buy from a shop)

We are stocking this new paper type B1 for litho, as well as SRA2 for Jetpress. Due to the thickness of the stock, we are unable to run it on any other press.

The price of the stock is similar to our 350gsm Uncoated sheets, so the new prices will follow closely with our existing 350gsm Uncoated prices.

We can offer foil and spot uv on this stock.

Artwork -
The silk side is on the outer side and uncoated on the inside.

On a proof it should state which is the front and back so a client can determine which artwork will be on either side of the stock.
