How to provide artwork for Stapled booklets.

For stapled booklets we ideally want the artwork supplying in single pages and set up in the correct running order. Page 1 being the front cover, then the back page being the last page in the PDF document.

Artwork needs to be set up with 3mm bleed on all edges and 3mm safety area.

If a client supplied their files in spreads the studio team will ask them if they can supply this as single pages, if this is not an option we can split these down.

When studio split the files down to single pages, please make sure the client triple checks the page order, as depending how this has been sent it can be incorrect for the client sometimes.

Booklet proofs:

Booklet proofs are show to the studio team in spread view, this way we can check everything lines up ok for anything going across 2 pages, you can also view this by going to the Job details page in IPOP and clicking the thumbnail.
