Print Styles & Artwork Guidelines

1. Double-Sided Print

Description: A distinct design printed on both the front and back of the mug. You can submit one design to be repeated on both sides or two different files.

Artwork Dimensions: 90mm × 90mm per side

Bleed: 0mm

Safe Zone: 3mm

Resolution: 300 dpi

2. Wraparound Print

Description: One continuous design that wraps seamlessly around the mug, leaving a small white gap near the handle and along the top and bottom edges.

Artwork Dimensions: 205mm × 90mm

Bleed: 0mm

How They Are Made & Packaged

Production Process

Print Artwork: Artwork is printed in reverse onto specialist transfer paper using our Epson SureColor F9500H printer.

Cut & Position: Each transfer is trimmed to size and secured tightly around the mug using heat-resistant tape.

Heat Press: Mugs are pressed for approximately 3 minutes at 190°C. Single-mug presses are used for short runs, while the Schulze Mug 15 press handles larger batch orders.

Cool & Cure: Mugs rest on cooling racks for 20 minutes to allow the sublimated inks to permanently cure into the ceramic coating.

Packaging Standards

Orders up to 35 mugs: Each mug is individually boxed, then packed securely together in an outer box.

Orders of 36+ mugs: Packed in bulk boxes of 36 mugs.

What are the delivery cut-off times?

Express Turnaround: Order and approve artwork before 5:00 PM for next working day delivery. Standard turnarounds have a 6:30 PM artwork approval cut-off. (Note: Extended-area postcodes require one additional working day).
