What is RGB Colour?

The RGB color model is an additive color model in which red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colors. The name of the model comes from the initials of the three additive primary colors, red, green, and blue.

Do we print in RGB?

No, we only print in CMYK.

What is RGB used for?

RGB is used for on screen colour - your televisions, computers all use RGB. Because of that reason you can often find that clients (often new clients) may have their artwork set up in this colour model.

What happens if a client provides artwork in RGB?

The colours would be converted at the proofing stage and may look different to what the client requires.

This should be warned on the proof.
