Recommendations
Lightweight – correx, foamex, pvc
Long lasting – Aluminium Composite
Budget – PVC
Easy to transport – PVC/Paper/Correx/Vinyl
How are they delivered?
Tubes – PVC, Paper, Mag Vinyl (low volume)
Flat pack – Correx, Dibond, Foam PVC, plus large quantities of tube items
Extra Consideration – Dibond is heavy, if we send out a big sheet this will be very heavy. Correx and foam PVC are quite delicate and therefore there is the risk of large sheets getting damaged.
Signage and Display over our 60 x 40inch size have to be dispatched via APC
What is our minimum print size?
a productsAs with all large format products, they will not appear as clear as those printed on Indigo/Litho, it’s always worth mentioning this to clients ordering product under A3. As a minimum we wouldn’t recommend ordering anything under A3 on this press, and avoiding anything with fine details, thin text or what is called ‘white out text’ – where the text appears white because we print the background around it. If the client understands the limitations of the machine and still wants to proceed, we wouldn’t be able to refund or reprint for the client based on ‘poor print quality’ on delivery. We are confident that our press is of high standard for a large format digital, and products printed on there are of a commercially acceptable quality as long as the artwork is supplied over to us in line with our requirements products
FAQ:
Is 2000mic Display Board recyclable?
Yes - you can recycle the display board, it is also FSC-certified.
Which pens should I use for the whiteboard?
Any standard dry wipe marker pens will work - This only applies to the white area not any printed area. Printed area can not be written on.
Can we laminate our display boards?
No
Would we offer A4, A5 or A6 on display boards?
No, however, technically we can do this however you will need to speak to the client about the quantity.
Anything printed on a display board is designed for public viewing so fine details/imagery will not show up well and can sometimes look 'fuzzy'. As long as the client is aware of this - it can be quoted for.
Do we print directly on to the boards?
Yes, we print directly on the boards. We don't print and then add to the board afterwards.
How long will they last?
This will differ depending on which stock is chosen - where it is placed - how it is fitted and how well it is looked after so a definitive answer can not be given.
For the ink, as long as it's not sat in direct sunlight it should be fade-resistant for up to 2 years. Again, this can be higher or lower depending on the above.
Can we send samples of these stocks?
Yes, they are usually unprinted and off-cuts of orders but can be sent to show an example of a stock. If a client is requiring a full sample, this would be at the cost of 1 online.
Can we do these cut to shape? I.e. circle?
No.
